The archives were established in 2003 and contain materials on the \ntheater’s productions, videotapes and DVDs of productions, and a \ncollection of hundreds of plays in Yiddish, Hebrew and other languages \nsuch as English, German, French, Rumanian, Polish, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The archives also contain current newspaper clippings related to \nYiddish, Yiddish culture, personalities connected to the Yiddish world, \nactors who perform in Yiddish, and a large collection of Yiddish songs \n(music and lyrics).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also located in the archives are the valuable bequests of deceased \nartists of the Yiddish theater, and posters of Yiddish plays and events \nthroughout the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the archives, one may also find materials related to Yiddish \ntheaters throughout the world, international festivals, and a collection\n of Israeli theater programs from the last 50 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
